Cabbage and Eggs Breakfast

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter or olive oil (or a combination of both)
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 cup lightly packed cabbage, finely shredded
  • 2 eggs, lightly beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the butter and/or oil and spread it evenly in the pan.
  3. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 20 seconds, until fragrant.
  4. Add the shredded cabbage and cook, stirring frequently, until it softens (about 3–5 minutes). For a richer flavor, cook until it begins to caramelize.
  5. Spread the cabbage out into a thin layer in the pan.
  6. Pour in the beaten eggs, tilting the pan to distribute them evenly.
  7. Let the eggs cook for 15–20 seconds, then gently fold them over until fully cooked.
  8. Remove from heat and serve immediately.

Serving Suggestion

Enjoy warm as a light breakfast or pair it with toast, avocado, or rice for a more filling meal.
